Xiaomi Note 3 now R1899

I have a spare case that fits the Redmi Note 3 Special Edition (152mm) that I want to sell as I don't own the phone anymore. It is a genuine leather case. I payed around R90 for it + R30 customs. So I am willing to sell it for R200 shipping included. I am based in Bloemfontein. Check the Imgur link to see what it looks like:

So found out yesterday, on MIUI 8 there is no forgotten password option if you've forgotten your pattern, I had to remotely reset my wifes device as you cannot even reset it from the device itself as the fingerprint reader is disabled after you reboot the phone and cause the bootloader is locked you cannot reset it that way.

Has anybody used the Aramex shipping option on Gearbest?

yes, delivery took about two weeks or three weeks. I was not in a rush so it did not bother me. They gave me a call for my ID number and email address when the package reached customs and they sent a email with a invoice. Aramex invoiced me R550 for handling customs for a $250 dollar import.

Dont try it. They not in SA so you end up with some crappy local shipping co that charge you way to much for clearing fees.

DHL is the only way to go.
Well I know Aramex is in SA, we have used them to import parts before, they were extremely well priced but shipping took about a week from the US.

My bad, I do know that importing with that option was costly. I do remember my one colleague complaining about cost of import after using them. At least DHL only cost R150 + Custom duty and you get your goods on time.

Am I reading that correctly, R550 just to handle customs? That didn't include the customs on the phone itself?

That looks good, also.

Essentially the Note 3, just with better specs?

In a Nutshell, from what I understand:

Note 3 (SD650) score just a tad more on benchmark than the Note 4 (SD625)
Note 4 (SD625) can keep its top speed for longer as it does not heat up over a period of time like when playing games.
Note 4 (MEDTK) is faster than both above but does not eat battery as fast as Note 3 (SD650). The Note 4 (SD625) still beats it in regard to battery life.
Note 4X is the Note 4 (SD625) but with Bluetooth 4.2 and more LTE bands.

If above makes any sense.

Ya, that doesn't seem like too much of an upgrade for the regular user...

Note 4X owner here and if you on about Battery Life the Note 4 & 4X (SD625) makes a hell of a difference if that is what you target.

My Note 4X gets about 4 days on a single charge. Before the Note 4x I used a Xiaomi Mi5 and that used up about 60% in a day.
