So I picked one up on Friday at Game for R1899. Considering it has specs equivalent to phones almost twice it's price it's pretty impressive and it's not a bad looking phone and UX, couple people mistook it for an iPhone. Initially I had problems with all playstore downloads failing but once I installed the update that was sorted out.

Other negatives of the device is that it's feels slippery and the edges are a bit uncomfortable to hold. I checked online for cases Takealot has a cover and earphone bundle (no earphones included with the device) but it's pretty steep at R399 considering the price of the Device, the navigation buttons are not illuminated which makes it difficult to use in the dark, there's no way way to swipe individual notifications from the notification tray like in most other android devices and annoyingly you cannot paste numbers into the dialer.

A question about Whatsapp, I currently have my primary sim in sim slot one and I am going to be getting a data sim from telkom seeing the seconary sim is 2G only, I have to put my current sim in slot 2 but I want to run my whatsapp from my current sim. is it possible?

Both sim slots are LTE.

Download Disa https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.disa . It allows you to install a second copy of Whatsapp. Works for my SO dual sim s7 edge

Just got an OTA upgrade to version 7.2.1.0 LHJMIDB

Painless install & lollipop 5.1.1 seems to be working very nicely.

Has anyone seen a smart flip cover for the Redmi 2 pro? Need to get my mom a new phone.

the update said minor bug fixes was a pleasant surprise

Number Siz got lucky, that is the Public Beta that Xiaomi is allowing a select few to download and try OTA.
On my end, nothing yet.
But I can wait for Public Stable.

@Lupus, what do you mean 'just add in extra'?
There are Covers and Flip Covers for the Redmi Note 2 as well.

You can choose Free Shipping if they offer it, but has no tracking Number when it enters south africa(no customs to pay).
If you choose to pay for shipping, regardless if which one you choose, you will get charged by Customs.

Like a few extra stuff. How do you pay?

@Lupus you can order and pay for a single item that costs $0.30 if you want.
There is no limit in how much or how little you buy.

You pay with a credit card, but there are other methods of payment. PayPal is not one of them though.
