just curious...those with xperia phones, why did u choose ur current phone???

I wanted a hardware keyboard, and a good camera. Also didn't like the style that Samsung is using. I like my 3.7" screen, and the speaker is decent too.

Doubt it, I think you just received an update to your firmware, to Version 4. Just check your android version under your Phone settings?

Ok so i downloaded the easy root toolkit from xda developers site and droid explorer. I have followed all the steps but when i run the root toolkit it says adb server is not up to date...

Did you manage to root your device yet? Does your phone show up in Droid Explorer?

Because of the Ray's size. The Galaxy was way too big and since I already have an iPad and sit in front of a laptop all day, it just didn't make sense getting that BRICK at all.

I'm considering getting the Xperia Arc. What's your general experiences with this phone? Is it as awesome as it looks? :p
Supposedly it's not getting a new Kernel with the ICS update or something along those lines. Is that a big deal?

Pros and Cons of this phone vs other android phones?

The Arc gets a lot of support on the XDA forums, and there are custom kernels available. CyanogenMod supports it too, so no worries there. I don't have one myself, but sometimes wonder if I shouldn't have gone that way instead of the Pro.

Importing it. Rather not give vodacom more money than I already am :p

Lol anyway the arc is awesome and if u ever want to root ur phone or anything just head over to xda developers

I have the Arc, and very happy with it !

I do ogle the speed of the newer models, but to be frank, I don't need it, mine is just fine.
