Im starting this thread for all of us to show appreciation to their cars, my car for example is a tata indica 1.4lsi 2005 model, i bought it last year as i was struggling with traveling and finances so the TATA was my best bet, After all the hair raising things i've heard about tata's im glad to report that more than a year on, my tata is still going strong, still has more than enough space for my gf and dog :) and as of yet hasn't really given me any troubles...she's not the fastest car on the road but she holds her own and will never let you down when looking for that little burst of speed, the point is i paid less to nothing for her and didnt expect much! but the tata has way exceeded my expectations and made a fan out of me ! (yes i know i may be the only one :) ) what car do you drive ? and what makes "HER" or "HIM" special ? more importantly What has your car got or done that has exceeded your expectations of it ?

Most new cars are good..as long as you look after them and service them when you should.
Tata engines are actually Peugeot engines and therefore you should not have problems. I have a Honda Accord....love my car 2 bits.....have had no problems..ever..and it has all the fancy stuff i like.....but most important thing is, it has never let me down......HONDA Rules!!!!!

I have a landrover discovery TD5 Series II. I have absoultely no feelings towards the car meaning I have no qualms to try and break it off road.

My travel to work car is a Piece 'o **** Sentra, for which I don't care much either.

Now, if I had a Nissan Skyline GTR, I would very much appreciate it :D

You should reverse this :

Is there anyone that has bought a car (ie used their own money) and they now regret it? Seems people always defend their own cars no matter what ...

I once bought a Nissan Sentra 160GX (1995 model) and regretted it almost a week later.

So I assume your gf and dog put on some extra weight since you bought it? ;)

I love my Toyota RunX 180RX. It's a Toyota - that says it all.
I got rid of my piece of shyt Opel Astra last year September. The "quality" was better than my current RunX, but I just had enough of it (which cost me a lot of moola) that I decided to go for Toyota.

Worst car i ever had was a Citi golf.......I would be driving along the highway and then it just cuts out.......lol........But that was a very long time ago.....Won't be buying a golf anytime soon.....

Moved from a TS to a fiesta tdci....Not bad car, should have got the focus though...

hijacker !!!!!!!

:) nah i spent my own money on the car and wasn;t expecting too much but honestly the car has proved to be a lifesaver.

yes i agree with you, most ppl will defend their cars to their death! but this isnt the case ...just showing some appreciation for my tata :)

Yea sorry to change the flow of the thread :(

Didn't mean to ...

I love my cars - both the Honda and the Toyota - sadly, the Toyota is going on sale now, its the only car thats never given me problems, but its getting old (2000). :(

I have a focus 1.6 Si (the hatchback). It's a good car but I just regret it cos it's so damn slow (and thus fuel consumption is fairly bad cos my foots always flat). Also they were fairly rare when I got mine and it seems like suddenly everyone got one.

I've loved all the cars I've ever owned, even my first one which was a Jetta 1.8 carb with nothing extra and 260,000 kms on the clock. I loved it because it never once broke down on me. I did take very good care of it though.
