I'm considering smugmug once my flickr expires next year. Too bad they dont offer a free, non-trial, account.

What I like about smugmug (apart from the obvious unlimited storage) is that they have a grandfathering clause which means your subscription never goes up (touch wood). I'm paying $30 p.a., which is less than my weekly beer bill

Unfortunately for the rest of us the amount is $39 (which is $15 more than flickr)

Mine is in my sig too. I'm not crazy about Smugmug (yet). I like flickr's give-and-take approach. I like the groups and group pools. I especially like the handful, but growing number of people who turn up to look each time I upload a picture - it's very gratifying.

I still havent really succumbed to the whole Flickr group/pool thing yet - I dont even really tag come to think of it.

I am in the process of setting up the MyBroadband group so we can more easily showcase our work to the community.

Smugmug has communities as their group thingy. I usually have around 30000 hits on my pics per month with about 5000 hits on large or bigger versions. Don't get too many comments though.
