I really need to figure out if I'm going to start posting to flickr again and what sort of stuff it will be. Some of my best stuff these days involve people and that just screams privacy issues.

EDIT - I've temporarily switched the flickr group to invite only - if anyone wants to join please just PM me with your flickr name and I'll add you asap. I just want to keep the comments limited to MyBB members for now.

Yeah, I know. I take a lot of pictures at work functions, which I won't upload because:

1. It's against work policy.
2. I don't like putting anything remotely personal on the internet.

The work related pics do, however, go onto the company file server, which I've put a stop to for now, since people started uploading my pics to facebook. Which really infuriates me. :mad: Note to self, e-mail our compliance guy.

Man I hate Yahoo/eBay/whatever with their usernames and passwords. I'm working off a new machine and have tried all my usual usernames and passwords and can't get in. When I request them to send me the stuff to my email, I don't exist, yet I got an email from them inviting me to join Bwana's group :mad:

This whole password thing is getting out of control - you have to keep a book with all the usernames and passwords, which defeats the object.

Will have to wait until I'm back on my Windows machine to see what's potting.

Sorry for the rant...

Yeah I hate it too, but to give people personalised content, you need to be able to identify them (even if they remain anonymous).

I've started making a list of all my usernames/passwords because it's simply getting too much to remember (for my work I have to remember several long complex ones too). I've finally taken the plunge and bought 1Password. The only reason is it can extract passwords that are already saved in Firefox/Safari and allows you to see it in plain text, which is useful because some of my saved passwords don't exist in my head :)

Nope, I don't think it's you. Maybe bwana toyed with the settings :) I realise now I'm seeing only the new stuff, which is only yours. At the bottom there are links to each contributor, and my stuff shows up there. Not sure why it's not showing in the pool though. Maybe flickr has change the behaviour - they've been making some changes lately.

And I agree with koffie, something is up with flickr today, just now it wasnt showing my contacts and I also had the same problem with the mybroadband group

Thanks man ... so do you. I will try and load some more if flickr does not bomb out everytime I upload.
