SSD is the future, cos hard disk drives are the slowest link in today's computers.
That depends on what you're doing.
Take for example motion effects rendering in high def or SD video. For that a fast processor (with as many cores as possible) and a multi-thread aware codec and OS are MORE important than fast disk IO. As is sequential reads and writes are fast enough for such editing unless you're working in UNCOMPRESSED HD.
SSDs are still expensive I think. When they become cheaper and by that I mean Intel controller SSDs become cheaper - since the others are fast but sub-standard for what the technology is capable of, I'll agree with you. That moment will come but right now HDD is still king for most use, otherwise there are also SCSI HDDs.

Correct but my D drive is a bit small at 250GB. So move D drive to C drive and replace D drive with 1TB?Well your c:\ should not be a massive drive, your c:\ drive should be an 80gb or 160gb hdd that you use only for windows.
