I've still got a working Nokia 2110 but it needs a new battery

I ordered some type F6 batteries to build a new 6V battery for my 1610. These will fit inside the battery compartment nicely so the phone will look good as new.

I have a fully working Nokia 5110, with two batteries. There is one problem though.. it does not accept SIM cards from networks it doesn't know about i.e. Cell C, 8ta, etc... To make those works requires changing the MCC+MNC on the device and I couldn't be bothered to do that anymore (especially since I don't have the necessary cables and software anymore)

The D500 was good but the D600 ( business version ) was better ( slimmer and ruberised back ). Mine went through a washing machine ( on two separate occasions ) and I gave it to my brother years ago to use. As far as I know that phone still works and is being passed on.

Note, the 1610 was the first cellphone I every used. It belonged to my dad and he used it until 1999. My first phone was a Siemens E10 that I got in 2000 when I went to tech. I never gave it the love it deserved. It really was a great phone and I managed to **** it up in the first semester of my 1st year at tech.

My Phillips was like a brick but with silk wrapped around it. I was the first phone of it's generation that came out with voice activated dialling.

I loved that phone. I still have it but its battery is busted and I don't know how to fix it. The rest of the phone is still fine.

The buttons were SOLID. You could press those a Million times and it wouldn't break.
