Youtube Buffering

I have a 80/80 with VOX and Frogfoot in Port Elizabeth.

For the last few months now it seems the video quality is really bad on YouTube. I mainly use my Samsung TV to stream my videos.

I have tried everything to set my streaming speed to HD on my TV but then it just dropps down to around 240p. It will also buffer at these times.

I am not having any issues with streaming Netflix.

I tried to report it to VOX but just gave up as they just cleared my ticket without even speaking to me.

The reason your YouTube playback is buffering is because you happen to hit the trifecta!

I'm experiencing the same in Somerset West for the past month. Vox Frogfoot 150/150 buffering or auto-reducing to minecraft quality. Netflix and speed test works fine. Vox is busy helping me trace the issue.

No mystery, just the same old tripe that comes up every few years. SA ISPs being typical kants and denying anything is wrong.
