ZA Bitcoin Mining Pool

I'm keen to sign up ... my PC sits at home doing nothing all day ... I don't exactly have amazing cards, but hell, it's worth stuffing around with :P
Got an i5 laptop with a M520GT Graphics Card, a desktop with a 4670 and another desktop with a 9800GTX+

Then I have my work laptop, which has an i5 but only onboard graphics ... how much bandwidth does this thing use? And does it have to use a specific port,
or can I use standard internet port?

Could be but perhaps one of them has a problem unrelated to running them so long. Hope so anyhow. What temp do they run at?

My 6970 is running at 66 the 6990 card run at 80-85 the one core is always much hotter. I run the fan at 80% when i am work haha, cannot sleep with it on at 80%

They run 100% at 70 odd degrees. My second rig runs at 66 main card, 57 second card. That's at 56 % and 47 % respectively.

That's not gonna work man. You need at least a 5830, even 2 of em.

GUIMiner.

Tried the text based miner. Tried different flags and settings, couldn't get up to what the GUI miner was doing.

You know in summary it has

miner speed accepted stale

What are those numbers in brackets under accept? When it starts out it will go 1(1) 2(2) then like 300(286), then i leave it on for a couple days and it will say 15000 (286)

I think stale blocks are as basically work units that was sent to you and someone else, the someone else completed that block before you.

No i know about stale, it has it owns column

Under accepted i have 2890(286) but when it first starts it goes 1(1) 2(2) stops after a certain point.

Ohhhhh I see now... Under the summary tab ye?

I actually have no freaking clue. I'm HOPING the first number is the accepted blocks and not the number in the brackets. That will SUCK! All those wasted blocks...

LOL ya, i was thinking perhaps you need to sit and exit then start exit then start every half hour :D. I mean imagine you get to 15000 blocks and only 300 are accepted hahaha. It is odd that (xxx) section keeps up with the accepted until about 250-350 then it stops.

So you 1(1) 2(2) all the way too 300 odd then the (xxx) go dead.

Killa.. Did you use an online wallet? I lost all my ****ing coins.. Was using mybitcoin.com. Now it's gone.

Ya i cashed mine in luckily only had one with them, relax though the last time they had an issue for 3 days i thought my coins were gone. They are more than likely just fixing something or have gone offline because of a hacker. Granted the site was not offline, i could not log in though.

I hope so those two bloody coins were my ticket to a wire transfer dammit :D. Now i gotta wait until tuesday to get the wire done. Well it would have been two if it was up and running and mybitcoinpool transferred it to them when they were down so i dunno hey. Hopefully it comes back online.

Sitting with 20 odd coins with them.. Gonna flog them soon as they up and sell my mining rig.

Not worth anymore to mine on such a low scale.

Your cards are also a bit heavy on the Watt side of things as well, i think one of those 5870 cards draw like 350 or 400 watts.
