Hey

So I have been having a problem with my internet for the past month. I am getting intermittent request time outs. This does not affect normal browsing but I cannot game online at all as every 5-10 seconds the line drops for a split second. I have tried everything to fix it. The problem has to be with Telkom. I have called a Telkom technician and they have come out only to tell me that there is no problem.

I have tested all the cables, different computers, different routers. A house that is a few houses down the road from mines ADSL has the exact same problem. No, it is not because of WiFi. Tried different DNS servers. Tried resetting the routers. Because there are 2 houses in the same area with the same problem, it can only be Telkom.

I have a 4MB line with Telkom and 10MB uncapped data with WebAfrica. The other house is 4MB line with Telkom and 4MB uncapped data with Mweb. This problem is never-ending, no matter the time of day. I have also tried using different ISP accounts. Both lines syncing at 4096.

Someone please help before this drives me insane. I just want to game without constant lag spikes. What more could I do to try and fix the problem if a Telkom technician has already come and tested to the conclusion that there isn't a problem? :crying:
