Hi all, wondering if there is any benefit in buying the paid version of Zoiper for my iPhone. I have a voip service through Afrihost.

I see that the paid version includes additional codecs but I’m not too clued up on that and wonder if it’s worthwhile.

Would appreciate any guidance.

The codecs that are paid for in zoiper are free. In fact the G729 did require a license for use before but it's royalty free now and GSWave and Linphone includes these for free where Zoip requires you to buy a premium upgrade to enable the G729 codec.
