Wonder if anyone could assist with a ZTE MF253 User Manual with more detail than the attached file please? I trying to activate the USB Storage when PC is connected via WiFi but the instructions in the attached file is vague (Chinese English).
Tried the Google/Bing is your friend trick.

I have one at home but never used the usb thing.
I would imagine it likely wants a fat32 flash/hdd.

I am assuming that you just want to plug a hard drive into the usb port?

I am more after the more comprehensive User Manual and using the USB Storage with USB/HDD.

I don't think there is a more advanced one.

The one you uploaded is the only one I have ever seen (comes in the box as well). I emailed ZTE some questions years back, no replies and searched the web high and low, never found another manual or more info.

Anyway, try playing with a flash drive. Format to fat32 see if it works, format to exfat, test, ntfs, test.

Then you at least know what your drive should be formatted as.

I also doubt the router has enough power to run a hard drive that does not have it's own power source...

It might be a size restrition too.
Similar router - B315s supports only FAT32 up to 32GB.

Contacted ZTE SupportRSA, it would appear that this device does not support USB Storage via WiFi connection to device. I will post details as soon as I receive an confirmation reply from them.
EDIT: Received confirmation from ZTE Support that the USB Storage is NOT available if connected via WiFi.
