Zuma charges dropped!!

Listen here, buddy. You said we were acting exactly like Zuma supporters. And that is what I was commenting on.

As for how I feel about the decision: I think it's a farce. Sure, I agree he might have been handled unfairly, but there's more than enough evidence to convict him! He is now running free on a technicality!
Processes are there for a reason. The NPA should be slammed for not following procedures - and thereby wasting Millions in taxpayer money. The Judge's decision was fair and technically correct.

And to all who those who fondly remember pre-1994, yeah, leave! The country doesn't need people like you. Take your apartheid memories to UK and US and Canada and see where that gets you.
K bye, good luck with Zimbabwe part 2. Dont come crying to the rest of the world when SA collapses. Oh wait it is already happening.

well now lets get shaik free shall we?>
his appeal was rejected hmmmm assets taken away, what will zuma get? presidency? God bless a fair process and judiciary,

This is most definitely not good news. I doubt very much that Zuma will be recharged.

I must say, it has made me a bit more pessimistic about the future of SA.

That's all fine and dandy, but now Zuma is free. Someone with evidence of being a criminal is free.

I have seen thread titles "walks free / declared innocent / charges dropped / etc"

That is not it at all. He can still be charged and prosecuted. This ruling simply says that there was a procedural fault with the manner in which he was charged before. It says nothing about his guilt or innocence. And the state still has the right to charge him once they fix up the mistake they made before. This is not over ppl. Read the news properly please... and report it properly as well.

On the plus side.
Think of all the money they (we) are saving on legal costs for a courtcase that would have been dragged on for months and months.

Is it not that us south africans are actually living in denial. The african way is the zim way.Stop fooling yourself. That is the african way and I think in the back of our minds we all know it.We are farting against thunder.Take the emotion out of the decision and get out unless you like the african way.

So true :(

Sod off? I can fondly remember the days when I had security and service all I want! I DON'T APPROVE OF A RACIST GOVERNMENT, HECK I'M NOT EVEN WHITE!

That is very true, but I doubt if they will prosecute him again... I sure hope they do, because everyone (except Zuma supporters) knows he is guilty.

I seriously doubt he will be recharged at all. By now the whole Zuma supporting public is getting drunk and carrying on, can you imagine if they recharge him? Also do you think if they do, will this be done before becoming president? This is a joke, a clear indication how money can buy you just about anything you want.
Shaik, grab your bags you will be getting a pardon next year

The problem is... if they had any substantial evidence before... this would have been over a long time ago. Unfortunately the majority of the evidence seems to be circumstantial... that is part of the reason why they have delayed so long.

It is up to them now to keep digging... or to just let it go.

lol CNN jut called Zuma "a former freedom fighter" :o

I thought "Freedom" was a brand of ladies... um thingamies.

or was that "anyday now"
