Zuma charges dropped!!

R.I.P indeed, atleast they can come back to charge him when they get sorted out, unless govment decides to join the NPA to the police

I give SA 3 yrs after 2010, then the collapse will come. All his cronies will be released and it will be free reign for them. Kids with cookie jars. Really disgraceful verdict. The guys is guilty, any person with HALF a brain can see that.
I truly believe there was intervention at the highest level.

I'd say 2 years after 2010, there world according to the mayans will end in 2012, Zuma will end South Africa before a giant asteriod crashes into earth and destroys everything :D

Yeah congrats to Zumas legal team. Congrats for selling out a country for cold hard cash. On technicalities no less.. But I'm sure when you move overseas with your money and your kids you can forget about being traitors.. It was only 47 million+ peoples futures at stake.
After all, YOUR kids will be fine, they will be fed and clothed by your blood money.

Job well done.. Now excuse me while I go throw up. It happens when I think about ppl like you.

Is it not that us south africans are actually living in denial. The african way is the zim way.Stop fooling yourself. That is the african way and I think in the back of our minds we all know it.We are farting against thunder.Take the emotion out of the decision and get out unless you like the african way.

couldn't have been said any better....

What happened to respecting the judiciary. The charges were found to be unlawful and hence must be dropped.

You are 100% right, we are so angry and disappointed with the decision that we fail to see that we are acting exectly the same way the Zumarites are acting, they would also have been disappointed if the verdict didn't go their way. We should respect the judiciary.

Sheeesh guys - a little harsh on the Judge don't you think? His findings are correct, and he ruled as such. He clearly pointed out that his ruling is that Zuma was charged illegally - not that Zuma was guilty/innocent.

Respect the Judge's decision. He ruled correctly.

That is true, his ruling is correct, but that still doesn't change the situation... we all hoped (don't want to generalize) Zuma will not be the next president, but now that hope is gone.

i find it difficult to believe that people still bring up the whole "SA was good before 94" arguement. Are you as mad as the JZ supporters? During that period everything regarding safety, the economy, news, security, jobs, government services, everything was all false. 80% of the countrys population was oppressed and not allowed access to basic ammenities, the government lied to its people and covered everything over to make it look good. And remember, under that "government", after school you would have had to go and do you national service, which probably 90% of the people on this forum have never experienced(including me), just be glad those days are gone.

So, with this all said and done as a precedent for things to come, do you think if the ANC don't get the votes needed in '09, would they step down? I think not.

Can't help but feel as though we have officially slipped over the edge of the slippery slope.

Wait? What? You are comparing us with Zuma supporters? The same guys that would shoot to kill for Zuma? The same people that looted shops, pulled motorists out of their cars and threw stones at police?

Yes, we are angry, but don't even start comparing us to Zuma supporters!

i thought we going down when the particles collide in october:eek:

Well i'm not an expect, I can't see into the future and see how the world will end, if I could I would build myself a spaceship and fly out of here :D

Maybe the world will end because of black holes or avian flu or Zuma will rape the world......

Do you respect the judiciary? and it's decision? Or are you going to say it was a political decision (or the decision was politically influenced) and not the judge's decision?

Listen here, buddy. You said we were acting exactly like Zuma supporters. And that is what I was commenting on.

As for how I feel about the decision: I think it's a farce. Sure, I agree he might have been handled unfairly, but there's more than enough evidence to convict him! He is now running free on a technicality!
