Zuma makes apartheid aside

There's my laugh for the day.. ok it's more like a grin.

The "don't ask me to elaborate" does make me a bit angry for some reason. He comes across as very arrogant :/

Indeed yes. But maybe he was trying to do that, understand, or maybe he was just stirring, I don't expect we will know for sure, given that he has now been banned (probably again), which is a bit sad, but I expect he will come back in some shape or another, like a floater.

There are large stakes involved in the next municipal elections, and quite a bit is going on. I would like to have argued with him further, even if he was a Troll.

What happens next is up to you, and all the people next to you. Do we go Zim (bit harsh I know, but stick with the plot for the moment), or do we go "Rainbow Nation"). I quite like the rainbow nation idea.

I think this would be best achieved by removing race from the picture and focussing on how that might work. It is a GRAND idea and certainly the apartheid inequities need to be addressed. To some extent these two philosophies are at odd and a conundrum.

I am not sure that the DA has a better idea how to do it, but their philosophy appears more philanthropic and less confrontational, and a lot more logical, and has very little to do with race (my opinion).

They also appear to have the best track record with regard to service delivery, and have no (or very little) in the way of corruption aimed in their direction. For a small opposition party, this is pretty impressive.

I think they (the DA) will struggle if they win big wards, that is a shed-load of stuff to manage, and I am not sure they have enough people on the ground to make it work. The plans are great, but the implementation might be a bit shoddy.

I really don't care how you and your friends vote or what you think of my political views, but I do expect you to do vote, and I do expect you to understand why you did in the first place and what you might think will happen as a result.

So, RESISTER, and VOTE.

Eish. You've all got it wrong. He didn't blame apartheid, it's APITHATE that caused all the problems. (A President's Interference That Helps Africans To Emigrate).

I would like to know too. He does have the right to express himself, and we should know too.
According to BBSA he's a clone. Wonder why he's the only clone that keeps getting banned, plenty clones around here.

LOL, the Rooster got banned again:D
No doubt you used your mods' pet abilities to lobby long & hard for his banning. Drooling tongue all on the floor.

:p:D

LOL R13, you should know by now you should ask these questions directly to the mods.

Are you trying to put the Mods in a bad light?

Folks are far too sensitive here... so what if Rooster puts forth some of his opinions? Surely we don't always have to agree with each other all the time?

It spices up the debate and adds a different perspective. Why should we be shielded from his views? It should be permitted as it offers a viewpoint from someone with a totally different mindset.

Yes, I know it is contrary to MyBB to create a clone once banned and I hope that is the only reason why he was banned again, i.e. rules and not content. Hats off to IdlePhaedrus for his counter-arguments sans personal attacks.

And, back on topic, I totally disagree with Zuma's remarks that he made. Arrogant and a very cheap shot - playing to the masses.

I think with each new virtual incarnation of Rooster it's just a matter of time until he gets personal with someone and the inevitable happens. Not sure exactly what happened this time. Though my personal opinions almost always clash with his, I tend to agree with what you say but I think that it must be mod policy to ban a clone once clone is positively identified or something to that effect. Having said that however I'll admit getting a kick out of identifiying him each time he returns.

So is he really banned? I don't think he deserved to be banned, make no mistake the guy was totally obsessed with apartheid but I think everyone pretty much put him in his place and it was actually just laughable how pathetic his attempts at garnering attention on the subject got.

I don't think it deserved a ban, If its possible could a moderator enlighten us to the criteria he fulfilled to achieve a ban ?

Its really really really getting to a point where its sad to blame everything on apartheid. I would really like to hear zuma explain what apartheid was to him.

If you read his personal history, he really did have a hard time under apartheid, growing up very poor, eventually going into exile, etc etc.

However, if you want to be a leader, you need to display some moral superiority. You do not go around blaming people, attacking people etc. You are the better person in all circumstances.

THAT is why it is so hard to be a true leader and why so few people really stand out in this world. Not everyone can be Gandhi or Mandela. Zuma is far from it!

That's cause most where still in diapers.

Given the chance, they would vote for Verwoed.

And most of those who aren't on the forum would be happy to kill kiddies over Christmas in Natal coastal towns, right?*

*I don't believe a word of what I'm saying I'm just emphasizing how silly the stereotype game is
