The likes of Mugabe just wanted the communists for bases in the Mozambique and Angola and for military stuff . But they were never deep rooted communists . Zambia , Zimbabwe and malawi were far colonised by the briti****s to become communists . Plus their most of their leaders were already educated under a british system . Soon as they got their independence old bob was dealing with british commonwealth people . Tutu is a better man than the entire ANC because he continued to peacefully protest the injustices of Apartheid. The ANC became terrorists, Tutu became a hero akin to Gandhi.

I would put my money on it that if it wasn't for his peaceful protest then the ANC would never have achieved what they did, they would still be in jail.
