we need 5 new players and atleast 5 must go
I've been saying this for months in this very thread but it has mostly been passed off as too extreme a view.

This.
What do the people think of Solskjaer as manager? Chances of him coming to United?
Cleverly and Valencia are so poor yet they keep getting selected, before we replace those 5 guys we need to acquire a competent manager.
Nope not entirely true. We all know the squad needs renovation.
And the alternatives are. . .
As I've said multiple times, Moyes saw the weakness in the middle. He tried to address it but Ed Woodward happened, so they hit the ''OH SCHIT!'' button and overpaid for Fellaini at the last minute. Must be noted that not even Fergie managed to sufficiently reinforce the middle post Keane-Scholes, coming closest with the Carrick-healthy Fletcher combo 3-odd seasons ago.
You were one of them that told me not to throw players that have served the club well under the bus. :erm:
Just read on SkySports how RvP said he couldn't play last night because his team mates were always in his positions.
He doesn't seem to be too happy since Fergie left. Looking to move, perhaps? (P.S: we don't want him back)

I'd only take one manager after Moyes; Jurgen Klopp.
He has what Fergie saw in Moyes; the ability to build a team using youth and little money.
Looks like this may be more of a reality in the new season. It's extremely doubtful that Moyes can turn our EPL campaign around and United are already apparently looking for a replacement. Some new players in the next transfer window (Reus and Kroos?) would be a welcome addition.
Do you honestly think Kroos and Reus will join Utd? Not a chance, especially with no CL.
Kroos is apparently not happy with his salary at Bayern, and the fact that Rooney just renewed his contract may sway him...
One can only hope at this stage.

Liverpool might get him and can offer him a good salary
The UCL will make a big difference if utd will get world class players to join them. i doubt they will get UCL and they will have to see what scraps is available. There is so much negativity in the man u camp that players don't want to down a club that is on the downward spiral, no UCL, not much class players, average manager and losing.
The opposite effect will happen at LFC.
It is still Manchester United Football Club. One bad seasons does not change two decades of dominance.
The negativity is countered by players like Rafael, Mata & Zanuzaj, youngsters that look like they want to play. That is why I am okay with the old guard being cleared out. Young, ambitious players need to come in.
yeah, and we are still LIVERPOOL FC. one season can make it or break it, just or all lfc supporters. so much things can go wrong. i understand the man utd brand is still good, but it can quickly change if a few things can go wrong. the longer Moyes stays, the more damage he can do to utd's image.
Good points, Pool was on top of there game pre-1990, Daglish left and that grey haired guy took over and look what happened from there.
I am sure 1 season won't break Utd, contracts are signed wrt to sponsorships and things. So the money will still be there. But support starts to dwindle the more the team loses. Not sure what the numbers are, but apparently it's a moerse lot when a team does not make CL
