home fone stays @ home. mobile phone commonly known as a cellphone go out with you. and why cant they just expand their services to more towns?

Phone looks rather dirty (Look at screen, and top right) - Don't they generally use good-looking phones for presentations? Or was that just the article-writers image?

Please people... realise this is the first fixed-line non-fixed line hand held roaming within an area device... with built-in alarm, calculator, speaker phone, LCD display, polyphonic ring-tones, built-in battery... oh wait... it's not...

HaHa... epic fail Neotel, why not just become another mobile operator? You pretty much already are... Telkom's got you just where they wanted you... where's that you ask? Nowhere!

Now what would have been useful is a button on the base station that makes the phone beep/ring, even when the battery is flat(via secondary small batt), cause these handhelds always get misplaced... then the battery goes flat and you can't find it!
 
The Hoff had one of these in the original Knight Rider! It's a collectors item! Even then it was smaller and fitted into a wrist watch!

would i be able to input characters on the display and send thats as a type of short message to other devices? might sound like nothing, but that has the potential to become very popular. a kind of short messaging service, or ShMeS.
