Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet local availability

Yep, it is a bit steep. Its 32GB and 3G.

Love the device but still need to get used to it (a new pop-up menu has appeared and I haven't got a clue on how to change it). It is also very thin and thus feels "toy like".
I started with the iPad1 then the 7" galaxy (which I am selling) and must say that the 10.1 is the one to go for.
 
Its a pity Vodacom came out with such ****ty deals compared to MTN :(
 
Now that the tablet has started rolling out what is the best price at the moment (no contract!)

I have heard MTN have it for R7500 and Samsung have it for R8999.
There must surely be better deals out there

I just got a reply from my MTN branch, cash price is R6825

Should be incl, they didnt say.. but I assume so

I have emailed them back just to confirm the specs (32gb etc)

Will ask them about the vat and warranty once they reply..

Usually a few days.. They are a bit slow sometimes, the last 2 contracts I took out took over 2 weeks. And those where add-on contracts (added to my existing account)
 
Its amazing how difficult they make it to source these... no wonder people go with iPads...

Geez! I was at cellC yesterday, got the galaxy s 2 for my other half :p . Took them 3 minutes to approve, was out of the store with the phone in 20 minutes.
