160gb (80% nzb / 10% torrents / 10 surfing http downloads) on with my 4096 uncapped. Some observations: After hours 8pm-8am I got full download speed. Business hours it started of full speed and then would drop down to an average of 120KB/s browsing and youtube(360p) still worked perfect.

Support seems to be non existent compared to Afrihost. I emailed them and opened up a support ticket on the website, still waiting for a response. Compared to my previous 384 uncapped experience with Afrihost I must say for ~R500 it is real value for money.

My 2c on a Monday.

Based on your thread it does seem I am being throttled to 1mb during the day 8am to 8pm and then they open the taps incremental wise till the next morning 8am. If I were a heavy downloader that would bother me, but currently I am happy except for the no support problem. But I will hang on to them for now I hear that we might see exciting things from October onwards.

322GB on my uncapped account for July. I went on a downloading spree. ;-) I only pay R418 though.

How do you download 322GB in one month? Seriously, I am online all the time practically and I also download a fair amount of music, but I am struggling to use up my 15GB's a month.

Try a household of 4 with HD YouTube and Netflix... 300-400GB goes poof!

justin.tv streaming. can chow bandwidth. europeans stream in 1080p format. So maxing your line just by watching that already can kill your bandwidth.

If you want to watch news, use livestation.com - easy on bandwidth +/- 1 GB per day (can add other stations by creating an account)

Well they (IS) even shape Afrihost...
