Guys how are things going on TI?Is it still possible to stream during the day eg hulu & netflix etc? From what i gather torrents seems a no go?
I have a 10mb line.

Not sure about streaming but my torrents are OK during the day. I've had to limit my bandwidth for torrenting as I need to work as well!! 2Mbps uncapped account - limited to 150 kB/s for torrents.Guys how are things going on TI?Is it still possible to stream during the day eg hulu & netflix etc? I have the same experience as Mickey.
But using nzb and not torrents.

Dunno where you heard torrents are a no go becoz thats a lie.
After 6pm is usually congestion time...

6pm is normal TV watching time.
2mb line with no issues on Netflix & Hulu.

Must agree I have no issues with those two services either when peak times comes a knocking.
Ti works great for me besides when its peak time
But thats an infrastructure problem and not Ti but Telkoms fault.If Telkom can bring me VDSL for xmas I'll be happy
The form won't submit no matter what I do. I log in, enter valid passwords, and check the usernames, but pressing enter or clicking on submit does nothing.
EDIT: Turns out you can't have more than one special character or something... who knows why.

It depends.
Last month was 24/7.
This month I have only run 24/7 in the last 4 days.
But regardless of 24/7 I've still got 10gb + per day.

not frowned upon? i.e. have you seen other protocols including the one nzbs use shaped to death because of this behaviour?

I very rarely use torrents, only html downloads and nzb.
I can do both 24/7 with no negative impact.
There was a point when I could only find a certain series on filehosting sites and not on torrents or nzb.
I downloaded for an extended period through filefactory.
With no negative effect.
My first month I downloaded loads of torrents and even then it was not a factor.
We're talking 250gb of torrents and streaming.
