Cell C Chief Information Officer (CIO) Ron Reddick resigns

Another high level resignation, almost double increase in prices, something major is happening at Cell C

Sad to see him go. Met him at the PE launch. Really nice guy.

This is sad news. Ron is a really cool guy and was passionate about Cell C’s network and broadband in general.

Where there is smoke, there must be fire...

What is happening at Cell C ? Lars gone ? Ron gone ? Doubling the cost of data packages ?

I don't like what I see...

Wow, hopefully they stop the downward spiral now. Not looking great is it.

Reddick explained that he tendered his resignation to the Cell C board and acting CEO Simon Duffy because the re-organisation of the company following the departure of former Cell C CEO Lars Reichelt did not sit well with him.

So glad I don't use CellC, a lack in confidence in CEO and CIO such that they both quit? Not a good sign.

First Lars and now ChRonicles of Reddick

Come on Cell C, sort your **** out. The other thieving networks are just aching for an oppurtunity to say "we told you it's unsustainable".

Time to leave a sinking ship ?
yes now not sure if I should buy more cell c datasims before the prices go up as the network may not be around any longer to use these sim cards. Really a pity as they really looked like a company that was going to make SA globally competitive when it came to mobile data.

WTF was hoping to move over to cellC in Jan when my contract expired, but might have to rethink that now. What the hell is going on at CellC?

Cell C spending a lot on a fiber rollouts and network modernisation. Think they are unable to sustain the cash flow required, hence the top guns leaving and increases in data prices.

they going down down down..... either sinking like the Titanic or mmm got something els up their sleeves (hopefully):wtf:

LOL. Abandon ship...

That guy knows there customers are ganna start leaving which means job cuts...

sorry cell c. u have knocked in the first nail of your coffin with that press release.

Were their offerings to good to be true and now their feeling the pinch?
