Vodacom Android Honeycomb tablet pricing

Why would one go for this? I see highest OS level is 2.3

Exactly even 3.2 sucks, wonder if you can place ICS custom rom on it.

Probably a dumb question, but will these tablets be locked to the vodacom network?

To any Vodacom PR people here, will the tablet get Android 4.0 ICS?

Also, what is it based on? Huawei something?

At that price I'd rather spend a few rand more and get the Asus Transformer.

It is ZTE

Wow, I hope not because if that is case the, they raping us.

ZTE 7" v9 (Android 2.3) goes for $99 NZ and
the 10" v11 (Android 3.2) goes for $350 NZ So it cost R2300 +- in NZ but R4700 in SA?

Joke is, this is Telstra pricing

Looking at the V11 specs it sounds about the same
