It's not difficult to access blocked sites, just hide behind a fake NZ or AU Proxy.
Browsing will be a lot slower, but at least you'll be able to view it.

If I look at the Optus v9 track record, dont hold your breath.

v9 only had one update from 2.1 to 2.2 and the rest is XDA only. Hopefully CM pick up dev on the v11 as well seeing that they have an official build for the v9.

they cant lock the devices anymore but they can and will limit the warranty to ONE year instead of TWO if you use another service providers SIM in your device
