PC Link Shop

Hi

2 things drew my attention immediately.
No physical address
No physical landline number

Now this doesnt necessarily mean that this shop is not legit, but if it were me,I would not buy from them purely based on what I said above.
If you do decide to buy - here is some handy info - just in case.

Thanks for the whois, didn't think of that.
I think that unless I can get a confirmation that they are legit I'm not going to risk it, too much cash to just give to an illiterate fellow with a domain name.

I was nervous about these guys too. But I asked them about it and they gave me their address and said I was welcome to see where their office is (it's close to where I live) AND they gave me contact details of a previous customer (whom I promptly called and questioned about his experience). Turns out these guys are perfectly legit. I proceeded to order a R13k notebook from them last week Friday, and received my order this week Monday. No issues, good service, great prices, and highly recommended.

Nice try PC Link Shop

I saw a very good deal on a camera last week and after being let down by two other on-line shops, ordered it (telephonically) from PC Link. The lady there was super helpful and super efficient; I collected it from them +- 12 business hours later (needed it urgently, didn't want to wait any longer after the time wasted on the other two shops).
I'm impressed and happy, thought it only fair to make my small contribution to counter the scepticism in this thread ...

Oh, well super duper 3 post wonder. I shall be sure to inform my mother and her auntie dear and bless her soul, all the dearest darlings at the shelter too. What would we do without this post and pclinkdrop as well...

Dearest us....

I have actually purchased from them

Their "App" screenshots are of internet explorer

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wPcLinkComputers&hl=en

Scammers have no shame online till they get caught

As stated before, I actually purchased online from PC Link and collected the goods myself at the address specified in their contacts section.
I am posting here since I have actually purchased from them, unlike the rest of the posts whereby it is purely being speculated whether this site is a scam or not...

So we are actually supposed to take your word for it, because you registered an account in 2004 and have 6 posts on the forum and you decided to bold your text to emphasize the fact that you actually bought from them?

No thanks.

I'll stay away.

Peace

There's no shortage of __________(fill in an appropriate noun here) on this thread!

When somebody asks for some simple advise, why not try and educate yourself and offer an intelligent reply instead of abusing people and defaming a business with unsubstantiated comments.

My suggestion, contact Samsung and ask them to confirm that PC Link is an Authorised Samsung Retailer which they claim to be.

My suggestion.

There is no shortage of one post wonders in this thread who have contributed bugger-all to our forum except post the praises of your company I suppose?

We don't take that lightly and don't support companies who use forum members to further their commercial interests. If you are that grand in all your dealings then I'm sure your clients will soon register here in droves and start posting your praises, but in the past few weeks I haven't seen that happen either.

This is a forum, made for conversing and communication. You clearly lack the communication part of it already as mentioned initially. Don't use our forum as your springboard.
