Possible iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c launch date for South Africa

The countdown to the offer on the MTN website would suggest 15 November is 100% accurate.

hrm.. my contract ends soon and wondering if it isn't better to just wait it out till march as last go round i noticed prices and packages significantly better then compared to 1st 1-3 months. Was considering switching from MTN but Cell-C network quality makes me think not viable.

I don't think it will be worth the wait. I only saw a very small reduction on iPhone 5 prices at the end of its lifetime.

I was told December when I spoke to our sales person at Vodacom

Yep if anything I have yet to see any deals matching cell c's opening iphone 5 deal which I managed to get 200min anytime,500mb data,200 sms per second billing and out of bundle rates of 99c per minute at R399-00 per month.Still an awesome deal.

I also signed up for this deal. It was really an awesome deal. Their latest offerings did not match up with this one. So sometimes it is better to be first, especially with CellC who seems to offer introductionary specials.

But how is their network compared to others? The Cell-C deals seem nice as well as abilities to combine contracts like data stuff but no point when can't use it either hence hesitant

Dont bother asking anyone since its pretty hit and miss,I have a great experience yet my brother who lives 1,5km away has terrible reception at his house unless he sets it to roam on vodacom.

Best way to decide is get a prepaid cell c card and load a small data bundle then go do speed tests at your normal places that you frequent, you may be surprised to find that some remote places have excellent reception while other places dont have what you would have expected but in general the city areas that I have traveled to in SA have decent to great reception including CT,Durban,JHB and surrounds and even some mp dorpies have great cell c network reception.

Only place I have found myself without proper data speeds is at my brothers house and a remote house my friend has on the river in the northwest where i can only use vodacom edge but that also fades away sometimes out there.
