I recharge my data bundle on the first of each month and then receive 10GB free wifi data.

Now, I have TM Wifi coverage at my office (don't know from which direction its coming, but I think its from Shoprite/Hungry Lion since they're opposite our offices).

How can I use this on my laptop? On the site it says that you need to enter the MAC address of the device, I do that, but still cannot connect to the AP

You're fighting an uphill battle. I have battled for a long time to get this working, without success.

Eventually, I just gave up on it. :(

did you register the mac address of your device on the telkom mobile site ?

did you register the mac address of your device on the telkom mobile site ?

I have registered my laptops MAC address on the self service portal, and it works just fine. However, you need to use Telkom_Guest to connect

I've added my MAC address and connecting to the Guest SSID gives me an "unsuccessful" message

As far I know the registering of secondary devices are for contracts only?

I used to try connecting with the device holding the sim the recharge was made on and still no luck. Even tried calling telkom and after many attempts simply let it go.

Has anyone been able to change the mac address of a secondary device since telkom has updated their website and telkommobile.co.za does not exist anymore? I cannot find this option anywhere, although I have found the spot to set the EAP password, not that it helps...

EDIT: Nevermind, read up on the changes
