Fibre : Bellairs, Northriding ?

It seems as though they're laying fibre down most of Bellairs Drive, Northriding.

Can anyone confirm ?

EDIT : Just to add, I asked the security guard if he knows and he said water pipes, but noticed a bakkie from http://www.opticalmediaworx.com/ carrying a few items. Just hoping, that's all :P

So these guys do the actual trenching for guys like DFA, Vumatel, MTN, Telkom etc?

How many do I need interested in my complex?

any idea if theres a North riding Homeowners or Tax/Rate payers association?
I think that would be the right forum to target to try and drum up support.
Been searching the net but have found any conclusive details.
Ive been in contact with Kalin from 123net, and the only thing we need now is the support from the community.
DFA have lines running right outside on my complex,
I think Northriding is def in a hot spot.
 
Literally a few minuses back I got an email from our DNG Broadband via our complex management.

I'm going to chat to them as well and research a little more

their prices seem decent, R599 for 10meg uncapped.
The BC is yet to be established at my complex, so still awaiting that before any action can be taken.
But Im sure there would be a decent amount of people ready to sign up.
The complex next door to me have also shown a lot of interest (via a member of their BC)

Cdealmeida is a representative from DNG, he contacted me yesterday after I emailed inquiring more info about Fibre deployment in North Riding.
He is willing to meet with our BCs or HOAs to explain and educate the people in our community about Fibre, which I think is great as many of our neighbors and residents don't know what Fibre is, its' benefits, or if they do know what it is, they think its going to cost a packet a month.
Lets see if we can start banding together more of the gated communities in North Riding, I have already sparked interest in 2 complexes.
 
Hi i just moved to the area in April (into that new complex on dexter) , i spoke to Carlos from DNG about a month ago to enquire about fibre, i am in to help with trying to get fibre to our communities.
 
Just saw this now, was also hoping they busy laying down fibre. Also in Bellairs drive. do i need to do anything to show my interest?

vumatel isnt in sharonlea/olivedale yet - we still need more interest before they actually implement it here
we do however have mtn and it is "available" on their site unfortunately their prices and packages are draconian

Have DNG started with the fibre in your complex as yet?
Ive sent Carlos an email but havent had any response as yet

Nothing in my complex yet either. Last thing was that he wanted the interested parties to register on the website. I've told our Home Owners, but I can't track who has or how many. So, lost :(

I just want a presentation done to the residents to show them how it can benefits them.

On another note, Telkom repaired my 20mbps connection with awesome stats, so I'm fairly OK if they take awhile. I at least hav something
 
I'm further down bellairs drive towards witkoppen, i noticed they stopped after the high school.

I seriously hope they going all the way, do you guys know?
 
so looks like i'm outa luck, they stopped with the digging not far from my complex and they are complete. Can anyone confirm actual installation within their complex?
 
Just filled in the interest forms for Olivedale. Found it interesting the 123Net shows 271 indications of interest, whilst Vuma states only 14.
