How to sell my engagement ring?

I am two years divorced and ready to sell my engagement ring. How do I go about? I have the valuation from a jeweller - what is a fair presentage of the valuation that I can sell the ring for? Where do I sell it? How do I avoid getting scammed?
 
Sounds like you ex is the one getting scammed. Return the ring to him.

 
He gave it to me, in exchange for the furniture

The problem is who would really wants to jinx their own marriage with a failed ring?
The value of your ring is its weight of the metal the diamond.
 
I'll pay you 10% of the value. Mail it to me with the valuation and your banking details

Keep the ring. You want to sell it to move on. Not because you need to sell it. One day when you in a pinch you can sell,and it will be useful now you will just waste it.

Talk to a few jeweler. They can make a reasonable offer based on the valuation and smelt the ring to make new ones.
 
Try Bidorbuy, Carbonite forums or OLX. Even your local PickaPay/ Spar notice boards or local newspaper classifieds should be helpful.
