Hi,
I have noticed this question has been asked quite a few times, so i thought a fresh thread giving the explanation would be in order.
How to: Telkom Mega100wr2 - halbridge
Create quickstart
1. Delete the existing quickstart profile as well any other connections on the router.
2. Apply, Save the settings and reboot the router.
3. When it starts up again (after logging in), it will start you through the 'quickstart wizard'.
4. Click on advanced tab (ie Do not follow the wizard).
5. WAN --> New Connection.
6. Name the connection quickstart.. I found through experience that the router seems to need a quickstart profile.
7. Set VPI and VCI as 8 and 35 respectively. Enter login details. Set as default gateway.
Everything else you can leave.
8. Apply, Save Settings.
Create Bridge Connection
9. WAN --> New Connection
10. Give the connection a name. Since it is the local one I called mine local.
11. Set Type as bridge.
12. VPI and VCI as 0 and 0 respectively <---------- this is where everybody goes wrong. (To get past the "Check PVC Errors" problem when entering 0 and 0, set vpi to 8 and vci to 35. Click Apply. Since the numbers are the same as quickstarts, the router will revert back to 0 and 0 when you click apply. It will throw out an error, but just ignore it, when you log back into the router the numbers will be 0 and 0, and your half bridge will work fine.)
Everything else you can leave.
12. Apply. Save Settings.
For good measure, reboot the router.
Hope this works for you as it has worked for me.
P.s. to save time a just altered one of milomak's posts. http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showpost.php?p=1098351&postcount=52
