New mobile data limits for Telkom Integrated Data service

so instead of paying R249 for 100 gigs data, which can be used for mobile as well, im now getting only 3 gigs. Was good while it lasted, but adios Telkom, once my discounts are done, cancelling my data allocation and save a bit of money

im not sure how they can limit you to that little data, in the event your dsl line goes down. I understand it was an awesome product, innovative, but surely at least do say 20mbps line speed, and give 20 gigs data etc
 
They will be adding higher limits for mobile at a fee. So the trial was successful, now they going to make some money out of it. Smart business that.
 
Never mind :( saw the date is the 1st April lovely sigh.

Exciting news for SoftCap customers!

Telkom will soon launch a Telkom Integrated Data product that you will be able to add to your existing Telkom account. The product will allow you to purchase the same amount of data as per you current SoftCap product/data allocation, but specifically for use via a mobile device. You will also be able to Top Up and benefit from preferential rates for out of bundle data purchases. We will soon communicate the details of the product, as well as a launch date.

Wonder when that will be released and cost? As I use my mobile data for streaming

And does Telkom have a calendar months notice? Cause this is a force change without a chance of cancelling before the new rules come into place.

200GB: R525 for 2GB = R262.50 for 1GB.

1000GB: R1599 for 3GB = R533.00 for 1GB.

Considering that's it's supposed to be used in case your line is down. So that 100 Mbps user has 3GB to use, same as the user that uses less than half of allowed data usage/cost.

Telkom ADSL Data is R269 for 100GB and R525 for 200GB. Vox is R99 for 100GB and R199 for 200GB. And both have free full speed midnight surfer..

Telkom need to fix my ADSL so I can stop using this service. Seriously from 100GB to 2GB not even 50GB but down to 2GB wow.
