.LOL. It comes from the person who is content from iTunes. For me Tunes is the weakest element in Apple ecosystem. Regarding transfering files, everything in Apple works the best if you use
all Apple equipment. So perhaps you wouldn't have problems when transfering files between MAC and iPhone, I don't know. It is a problem indeed when transfering files between Windows PC and iPhone. At first place I was stupid enough to try Bluetooth, learned quickly that iPhone Bluetooth stack is only a skeleton, only suitable for streaming music.
I posted on this forum and got couple replies with possible solutions. It turned out that all you need is an app on the iPhone which works with a companion app on PC, or the app using more generic services like WebDav (server or client), ftp or SMB shares. As I don't use Windows shares on my Internet connection, I settled for an USB stick on the router running SAMBA server.
Regarging Android, it is nice to hear that Android is growing up. The last iOS upgrades bring only cosmetical changes or improvements to the new hardware like touchID which I don't have or a cloud services which I don't use. Platform is not improving to accomodate increased processing power. Having said that, if you still have your iPhone and you didn't change your mind, pls let me know, as iOS upgrade to iOS7 has crippled my iPhone 4, it's a time for an upgrade.
