Sigh. I've said quite a few times I'll stay on WhatsApp, because that's where everyone I communicate with is (except the one dude who insists on using SMS and FB Messenger :confused:). Once I start getting ads, I'll move to Telegram, or whatever is deemed the best alternative at that time. Simple to understand, right?
 
I doubt Whatsapp will allow their new business features to be in the form of ads, we have more than enough of irritating endless ads wherever we look!
 
long overdue. And i'd definitely pay the premium for this.

I know several businesses that use Whatsapp as a customer contact point. Works great and with Web.whatsapp its even better. Just wish they allow concurrent browsers in this update.

Yeah, I would have no problem with a business contacting me on WhatsApp if it's regarding a query. Just not pushing ads.
