Are SAOL.com & Cybersmart the same company?

I think so because both use the same e-mail management system and the numbering system across both appears to be sequential. Furthermore, SAOL.com resolves to the Cybersmart network. Did they recently merge?
 
as far as i know there is some cross shareholding but they are separate companies (may have changed recently...)

If by numbering system you mean the username, I suspect that's actually assigned by Telkom - considering that when I applied at WebAfrica I got xxxyy, and at Axxess I got xxxyy+1.

Cathryn, I mean the reference numbering system for logging e-mails. Sent them both e-mails a few mins apart and got something like 92175 and then 92177.
