I thought it Would be a good idea to Make a thread that we could all contribute to, to find the Cheapest PC shops in South Africa:)
It would make alot of our lives easier to have a list to go to for PC shops, when wanting to buy components etc...
So please Could yu post links to your Fave Shops, Best shops...

I Have found these to be extremly cheap:
PCInternational - www.pcint.co.za
Landmark Computers - www.landmarkpc.co.za
Zones - www.zones.co.za

:D
Thanks in advance

Agreed on the 110% but it's not what makes the good. It's the fact that they still give you advice on whats's best for your rahter than just pushing products. I trust their opinions on "whats the best buy for the rand" - that's what makes them good...

Personally I can make up my own mind on that but for other customers that is also why they are great.

They impressed me most when I had to RMA damaged hardware, they collected a item from me delivered a new one without charging a dime. After that I thought I also had a defective motherboard turned out to be the RAM (which I bought from Cyberdyne Systems) and they collected and shipped it back to me and didn't charge me a cent even though it was my mistake. During all that time I only received stellar service from them. You're unlikely to find other dealers/resellers who would give you this level of service (the first I've encountered it), all other resellers/dealers expect me to return items on my own cost.

I have also only had good experiences with Prophecy. PCInt has good prices but their service sucks sometimes...

I am waiting for my Heatsink and PSU from Prophecy which will be delivered to my work this morning. First time buyer from Prophecy and so far so good. Really keen to get my stuff.

well you have nothing to fear :)

i am a very happy customer as well, their level of care is astounding. them and take2 are brilliant, but for pc needs i go to prophecy. dvd's and music and games i go to take2 :) what could be better than ordering your things online and getting it a few days later at your office? no hassle, no running around like a headless chicken wasting petrol to get all the crap together.

love them! (take2 as well :D )

Take2.co.za as well as Kalahari.net

They not ALWAYS cheap, but they have their moments and I've never really had a problem with them.

Just picked up my PSU and heatsink from our guys downstairs. Didn't expect to get everything nicely packed in a prophecy carton box filled with all those polystyreen to protect content.

PSU looks nice. Will test it after work at home. Pity is that one side of the cover it's not installed properly before the screw was tightened. Problem with workmanship but should be ok.

Prophecy,Landmark and the dealers at systemshock and pcbuyersguide forum get my recommendation.
