Best HSDPA deals

The latest deal comes from iBurst where the wireless broadband provider is throwing in four-months’ free HSDPA 3.6 access – priced at R49 per month – free of charge with every HSDPA contract.

no specials for us on mtn and vodacom I see....

The only "special" would be to buy Data Bundle and not let it expire. That would be something worth. That R49 deal, is just R1 less Vodacom charges for 3.6 HSDPA service.

Ja, I'm due an upgrade on my 2gb MTN HSDPA contract. Paying R450 at the moment. So when I upgrade, I'll rather cancel and get a new one (as I have the modem paid off, or will there be sweet deals like throwing in this iphone everyone is talking about:)

I would recommend a Vodacom PPDB. If you use all the data up you can buy a new bundle straight away - no waiting for the end of the month! It is R389 for 2 gigs of data.

P.S. I don't work for Vodacom and have made no money from this commercial. I just like their product - except for the price :(

There are now Top Up Data contracts available from Vodacom, giving the best of both worlds. Contract pricing, so it includes the modem, but pre-paid billing, so no bill shock, i.e. if you take a 1G contract your account stops at 1G. (You can obviously recharge - as many times as you like.....;))

Another service brought to you courtesy of your constant bitching and moaning on this forum! :D

Don't think it's up yet. You got the sneak-preview ;) But I suspect it's already in the shops.

Actually a number of new products launched the last few days, but I think the PR gals are holding back a bit to let the fruit hysteria die down a bit...;)

As I said above, it's a Top Up product but for data, so you can get a modem on it, but the beauty for you (not VC!) is that if you take, say a 1G contract, your data stops at 1GB, so there is no going OOB. Normal ad-hoc is obviously available.

This one is for ic! :) He beat us up enough as is.

Thanx to vodacom. Im using 2gb every month. And i dont have a modem. Im using my phone. So that deal would help me a lot. I hope it would be easy to get it, because Voda once declined my application due to the Credit judgement on me. Voda 3g do u have any good news for me?

That's definitely good news:). So now we won't have to top up a normal Top Up contract to get to the value of a data bundle:D.

And you would have received a free modem.

There are pros and cons to everything in life. That's why you're supposed to engage your grey matter and make informed decisions.

Nothing is for free from Vodacom:rolleyes: You pay about R50 extra per month because you received a "free" modem

Did you use your grey matter?

Anyone else noticed a serious drive to get more people onto contracts before the new consumer laws come in.
