NeoFlex available next week

This is good news indeed. I expect that the pricing will be in line with Neotel's NeoConnect offerings or better. It will be tough to argue that it must be more expensive - you are getting free calls and the like with NeoConnect - this is only data.

 is this wireless or wired connection? and what's so special compared to there other offerings?

Now neotel.. Don't screw the pooch on this one. Make it worth it for the client to switch over to your product. Do not follow the Telkom business model on this. Show us that you care.

Data only, Downlink speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps and uplink speeds of up to 1 Mbps, Ethernet ports and WiFi enabled device... I think these are the headlines. We are testing the service and it is very good so far - definitely competition to ADSL 4 Mbps if higher latency is acceptable to you. I also expect that device inclusive pricing will come in at a lower rate than Telkom's per-GB only price (without ADSL access and line rental), which means that the value proposition is there.

Hopefully neotel will deliver on this timeline and restore a little confidence...been waiting so long I can't believe the day is almost here, come on neotel ... I want to leave Telkom, reduce my 4meg cost by 20 to 25 percent and Im yours

now we just EAGERLY await the pricing

ps. perhaps a REALLY good idea would be to allow ISP's to onsell data bundles or even the product, like they do with ADSL, and then we'd really make Telkom take notice

Now all we need is coverage...........GGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRR

sweet.
Now, please, please, please, do not give us some "Windows usb" device.

What a pity they are rolling their services out at a glacial pace. All the cool services at the lowest prices mean nothing if nobody has access to them.

Hopefully Telkom will respond by lowering prices if Neotel lowers the cost of broadband and I can buy a Telkom product.

We tested this service in the week before Christmas.

My thoughts are here, here and here.

We will be taking a couple as soon as they are available (even though we're not supposed to have coverage).
