Have MTN discontinued their 808 service - keeps giving me "The number you have dialed is incorrect...."

The number is only available to MTN SP I think. If you are with a different SP then you need to call their call centre.
They must be breaching the contract by not supplying the services.does anyone know if we can use this to cancel our contracts with no penalties.
I applied to have my number ported from AutoPage to MTNSP. After waiting 2 weeks for my contract to be approved I ended up DRIVING out to HD to get the matter sorted out. As I wasn't prepared to wait 30mins for the call centre to pick up!
They sorted the issue out in 10min ! BUT now I sit with a new phone and sim but its not active ! Its been 2 days now !
