Nah, I think the guy has registered for a free reseller hosting account. The catch is that he will be placing ads on your site.
 
Nathan, thanx 'ol chap, I registered and everything seems 100% legit.

I see it DOES infact have cPanel, E-mail setup and everything I need, just 1 more question - can I use phpBB and setup a forum as well?
 
Nathans running a referral program. That sites always been free - to anyone. He's getting some kick backs for giving a url out with his referral code embedded on it for hosting that's free anyway.

If he's spreading the good word then I have no qualms with it. Not sure what kinda kick backs one would get from a company offering free hosting.. o.O

Sorry to bust the secret. But the truth will prevail...

I'd say if anyone WAS looking for free hosting then he deserves people signing up underneath his referral code for sharing the free stuff.

OK:Keeper just answered my question.It was already shared about a month ago..so no referals deserved there.

1 problemo - can anyone help?

I tried creating a .za.net doamin name but I get the following error:

ERROR: Nameserver ns01.000webhost.com is not authoritative for [mysite].za.net

ERROR: Nameserver ns02.000webhost.com is not authoritative for [mysite].za.net

I put "[mysite]" so that someone else reading this won't register my secret url.... hehe

but, can we create .za.net domains for this free host?
 
Just thought that he would be making money by putting ads on everyone's sites...... Oh well, guess everyone wins out of this!

You might have to wait until the correct entries are added into their DNS server :) PM me the domain and I'll check their dns servers out quick.

yip you can install the phpBB for your forum its all in the cpanel under fantastica Autoinstaller

with the free hosting you can select a free domain but will be something like
yoursite.host22.com
or if you already have a domain registered on your name you can use it and point your domain to the free web hosting account
