Dropped call? Get free airtime

You should hardly get dropped calls in the first place. Period.

Why should it apply to everybody if, like the article states, everyone else doesn't lose money due to dropped calls?

If it was just a few seconds of per second billing, or the charge for a minute, they should give you a free minute back anyway.

Where is this info on their website?

I would love to spread the word... with some proof to substantiate the words I'm spreading from VC themselves.

If everybody uses it, it would be a great way for VC to generate real world stats!

Next time I loose a call, I'll use it.

Who refunds the expensive seconds to reconnect the converations again?

"Hi - sorry, the call dropped - where were we....

"Thanks for calling again - yes where were we when the call dropped - I think you mentioned something about...

just me, or has this not exactly been the most advertised feature available?

MMM.... is this the service that sounds like your call is going through an exchange in Buffels-SonderVoetFontein? And you do not get billed when you reconnect- no matter the length of the call - abusers get tracked down though, service gets suspended, just asked their support staff that got fired for the abuse of the service;-)

We need to make this information public ASAP

Everyone phone their local radio station. We need to get it so puplic that VC would have a media circus if they stopped it.

I ran out of airtime when phoning my boss, and the call dropped. but when I dialed 119 it didn't give me more airtime. WTH???? What a stupid service...ok, I kid I kid!

Heard a story this week (don't know how true this is) that some 702 radio jock phoned some or other Vodacom fatcat earlier this year regarding dropped calls. Apprently this guy denied any knowledge of this and made it off as 'vicious rumours' shortly before their call was dropped live on air. lol! Anyone know about this incident? :D

This is like FNB providing a service fee cap 2 anyone but only once u request it, if u don't request it they will happily continue over billing u.

I have so many dropped calls on a daily basis but I'm on per second billing so they don't make as much extra money of me (although they do get the extra min or two me and the other party has a quick chat about how **** the networks are for always dropping our calls)

As we all know (and I'm sure I've said it before) they have no interest in service or give a rats ass about us its all just about profits.

This has been a service VC offered since way back, it is in the back of every Yebo Goggo Vodacom magazine.

Discrimination against prepaid customers.

Do not even bother with a 119 service:
CellC ..
MTN ..
