Web Africa goes Tier-1

We've been using Webafrica for a few years now and can only give bouquets for their service and support. Good luck with the new venture.

The site is in BETA development. Will maybe be complete today. Else call their customer services they can book your 10G.

+1 where do we signup.

There website does seem to be down. DoS attack from all the people who want to trial the 10gb solution :)

The ISP added that pricing will definitely be reduced, and that they are currently working on new pricing models which will be released shortly.

Told you so! More good news! :)

Am I the only one that's annoyed at the obvious mis-use of the term Tier-1?

The generally accepted Definition of a Tier-1 network:
A network that can reach every other network on the Internet without purchasing IP transit or paying settlements

I'm quite sure Web Africa is paying for their transit (upstream bandwidth)
