New iBurst prepaid pricing

At least v3g is trying to take it in the right direction. how does it compare to other wireless offerings?

How long does the prepaid bandwidth last? What are the rollover rules with this product?

I can't seem to find those details anywhere

We are busy looking at a more comprehensive pricing comparison...should be up tomorrow.

At least Jannie's listening to his clients - kudos to him.

I hope they will tackle the issue of bandwidth pricing soon.

Ja, he definitely is doing stuff there!

But I have two clients down south, one in Alrode and one in Eikenhof and they both complain about the terrible speeds.

At least it is a bit cheaper than 3G... unless you go with a 3G contract.

Prepaid and contract 3G are exactly the same price for the data bundles.

Ha-ha-ha.....This is such a bad deal it's actually funny. Their target market includes students and pensioners...... at R 222/GB.... yea right.

For R100 iBurst Prepaid users will get 160 MB of data (up from 140 MB) and for R200 users will get 900 MB (up from the previous 400 MB)

Pretty pricey.

Agreed. Plus iBurst as a technology has been hopelessly surpassed by LTE, Mobile Wimax and 3G.

There's not a single good reason to use iBurst over any of the 3G providers out there.

Yup. I concur. I also predict that IBurst wireless product will not be on offer this time next year. Extinct it will be.

price could of been a great great factor however its cheaper to plug your phone in to your computer and use its 3g/ hspda connection.

This price range is really an epic fail.

Current iBurst subscribers (including myself) pay:

R199 for 1GB (Top Up)

New Prepaid price is R200 for 900MB

Yah! What a saving...

Still Epic Fail...

Any voucher bundle purchased has a life span of 12 months before it will expire – so unused bandwidth would essentially carry over for a 12 month period from date of purchase
