MWEB undercuts Telkom with national call prices

What are the requirements for getting this? Is it like Vox ADSL phone?

As the only real fixed line alternative to telkom, I think I might be lured back in... :o

After I cancelled my account with them, they forgot to stop my ADSL access- have managed to get 8months free. Error in my favour I suppose- thanks for yinging my yang :p
 
Telkom the lesser of two evils :confused: Takes quite some doing to be more despised than Telkom...

Hi Shred,

Any SIP client will do e.g. softclient, SIPphone, VoIP enabled ADSL router etc.

How can Mweb undercut Telkom? :confused:

If they are using voip, I think telkom is allowed to pull a clause like the cellphone companies with voip over edge/3g where they can charge R25 a meg?
 
Really phone calls?
woohoo, I cant remember the last time I made a phone call off a land line, how about providing ADSL for half the price of Telkom?

It seems only available to MWEB customers, correct?

What I essentially want to do is use x2 Nokia N95's and enable them to phone each other.. (all this for free of course :o)

It seems possible since the Webcall Easy package is free, and calls to Webcall numbers are free too. Am I missing something here?
