Wow, that's pretty cool MrBeep, you've outdone yourself ;)

dude your local accounts rule in a big way

im loving my 30 gig account

but tell me when should i do my next deposit? before what date

do you have a debit order thingie?

Good thing

This is a good thing... I must check on my usage, but I doubt my 384 account allows enough speed to do close to 30 a month, maybe I'll downgrade, but then if I am going over 10Gb, I may just leave it as is... good value!

on a 384kb line, you should be getting 39-41kbs, that means max 90Gg per month (3gb per day ave x 30 days) :D
(if the IS news server is on all the time @ full speeds)

Yeah... but alas

30-40k on the IS newz server is the absolute best and is rare... 10-15 is normal most days...
And of course, I don't like my fans turning 24/7 :D

Wow! This is exactly what I need.

Is this a month to month offering?
I mean if I sign up but don't want to use it the next month can I just cancel or not pay?

This is a good offer but imagine-ips has a 1/10gig account for R75. They've had that for some time now.

If you're really tight on you budget then go for imagine-ips. The difference is a R4 and 1 gig int. But i rather just stick with openweb, service is much better.

during the day i never get more than 20 or so but after 10 i get over 40 on the news server

I get a constant 30-40kB/s throughout the day - on a 384k line. If you're on 512k, your speeds are slower than they should be. It all depends on how you set up your newsreader. Ideally to get the best speeds, 8 connections running 4 connections from each server simultaneously is optimal.

There's 2 servers - each allows a maximum of 4 simultaneous connections. So downloading content from both servers simulataneously should give you 8 simultaneous connections in total which should effectively have you almost maxing out your line.

Not exactly. If you're using Grabit, download the first half of your batch using one and the second half from the other (highlight half, right-click, download with other server). Be sure to right-click the servers themselves and set maximum number of connections to 4. After that you should be able to tick 8 boxes in the threads list and get 8 simultaneous connections. PM me if it's not working ;)

Anyway I apologise for going off-topic on your thread Beeps. Great offering! Will it be offered on a month to month basis as well?
