Which is something I didn’t consider enough with gas. The grid, burner covers I can put in the dishwasher but the bottom either gets burned off or you need to sponge it with sunlight water. The fat trap I put tin foil over so that’s easy.

Edit: maybe I can line the bottom with tin foil, mmm.

i'm thinking this same thing after I cleaned my Onyx on Saturday.. foil in the bottom sounds like a good idea..
