I'm over this. 512k has been the same, overpriced, POS since it's inception in 2002 and it's likely to remain that way forever.

So now there's going to be a 9.5 Mbps increase in speed between 512k and 4m, for R80-odd more, and a 128 Kbps increase in speed between 384k and 512k for over R100 more. How does that even make sense.

You receive your email a fraction faster! Mxit will operate faster, Utube video wont stutter.
 
are the 384kps -> 1mb and the 512 to 2mb happening at the same time?

hmm wonder if Mweb will bump up their 4MB Uncapped users to 10MB free of charge as well, as they seem to be buddy buddy with Telkom.
 
My router info states Line Mode ADSL 2+, but am I right in saying this doesn't mean that the exchange is 10mbps capable?
 
And just when I decided to downgrade from 4mbps :D Let's see.

Although this has been present for a long while now: Attainable Rate (Kbps): 11296 884

Pity.
