Let's start that rumour and force Telkom to dismiss it. Might be fun![]()
Been trying that since these 'rumours' started. MyADSL has been slow though- in almost every article on the 10meg subject, the lower accounts are left out. No hard questions for Telkom- just toeing the line as far as I can see.
MNOs are launching 21meg speeds, yet here we are with our "fast" 384k ADSLWTF?
anybody know to to check what max lines peed you can get on a billion 5200GR4?
will believe it when it actually physically happens
My exchange still says G.DMT soooo... is it still possible that they will turn on the ADSL2+ equipment this weekend?![]()
Upgrade to 1024/4096, problem solved case closed.
Were you find this?
Same here. I'm in Wilro Park/Helderkruin (011-768-xxxx) and my exchange is still G.DMT. I've never experienced problems with high latency etc so I assume the exchange is Metro Ethernet enabled or has no other backhaul problems, and they just need to put in an ADSL2+ DSLAM... at least I hope its that simple xDMy exchange still says G.DMT soooo... is it still possible that they will turn on the ADSL2+ equipment this weekend?![]()

i'm in PMB and also on G.DMT quite close to exchange and get good latency but doubt i'll get 10 meg in PMB soon or ever
So let me get this straight. If my router says my exchange is "G.DMT" then ADSL2+ DSLAM will work? And thus 10mbps will work?
Some of the City centre exchanges are 10MB capable - Hayfields and Pelham seems to be a problem but I think they will be upgraded soon...
