You missed 8 track tapes they were quite cool . when the tapes were new they were ok after a while the tapes gave problems then every one started using 4 track tapes

uhhh....PDA were popular in the 90's. They had basically died out by the early 2000's. By 2000, the Newton has already been discontinued and the Palm was in a freefall, and had spun off PalmSource. Garry Trudeau's famous lampooning on the Newton in his Doonesbury cartoon was back in 1993.

What about telephone answering machines. I repaired a Sinclair ZX80 the other day, Replaced the modulator and it gives a fair image on a TV. Bit of pixel crawl up the vertical bars though. Awful keyboard

I have 8-track cassettes. I have the portable entertainment system in a case (turntable, cassette deck and radio). I have a reel to reel tape recorder. I have a Canon Palmtronic LE-10 Calculator. Now we talking old.

I've got an abacus, beat that :D

ha ha ha

I'm sure I have a stone and a piece of string with a knot in it somewhere and they both could have been used for counting, now beat that.

I'll just use my sharpened stick to make another mark on my cave wall...

I remember the fun I had fitting a 8 track player into a Triumph TR3A which, along with many other UK cars back then, used a battery positive earth system (something to do with rust prevention) and meant that you couldn't use the chassis as a ground return :)

Not be a killjoy or anything, but most companies still use modems for online faxing.

My car has a cassette player and a 6 CD shuttle. All in one and stock fitting. Still haven't tested the cassette player. Can't find anyone with a cassette.

It's always funny when people see the cassette player. Everyone is like wtf? (350Z 2005 model)
