So I'm about to move out of home for the first time and I'm selecting my first internet connection woohoo!
I download a bit, not a huge amount, but I do play a lot of WoW and other online games so I'm looking at a 4mbps line bundle.
Everyone's always harping on about uncapped, but capped actually seems like a reasonable solution these days. 100gb should probably last me the month, plus it's totally unshaped.
I'm struggling to decide between Afrihost and Cybersmart. Afrihost is obvs a great company, but I can't find much info on their site, unlike Cybersmart who are pretty open. So here are a few q's.
1.) Does anyone know what the contention ratio is for Afrihost capped?
2.) Should I be excited about the 4/10mbps thing? Am I actually going to get 10 anything faster than 4?
3.) Do Afrihost include a modem/router in their packages?
4.) Are Cybersmart contract based or can you change month to month?
